I love this show so hard. It's smart, funny, has queer rep, the women aren't shamed for having sex lives, and it's full of horror (some of the jump scares have legit made me shriek, which isn't easy to do).
The past seasons are on #HboMax if you want to check it out. I highly recommend it for fans of murder mysteries, ghost stories & other supernatural shenanigans 👻🧟

Pigeons from Hell, the best episode of NBC’s excellent 1960-62 anthology TV series Thriller. Based on Robert E. Howard's best horror story. Moody and atmospheric, superbly shot and builds remorselessly to a genuinely creepy and scary ending.

Beasts is a 6-part 1976 British horror anthology TV series created and written by Nigel Kneale. It mixes horror with scifi but you're never sure if anything genuinely non-natural has occurred. A strange offbeat unsettling but fascinating series.

I think it's British (going by the most common accent of the actors). I'm really enjoying it so far.

I used to watch this when I was just a baby horror fan, old enough to babysit, but only barely (great for after I put the kids to bed). And, y'know, they hold up okay. Plenty of recycled plots, sure, but mostly well presented. Good job, Nickelodeon.
