We're nominated for another award, Children's Bookseller of the Year, Macmillan Kids crew sent us this big, shiny box of Hotel Chocolat to celebrate! We had to fight the Gruffalo and Hugless Douglas for them.

Finally caved and bought a Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser. I was a little sceptical but I have to admit it makes lovely hot chocolate.

Ordered a sample box of flavours. The habenero chilli chocolate flavour is… interesting.

I was very surprised this morning when, after a whole month avoiding sweet/cakey/chocolate stuff, and lusting after morning buns, chocolate brownies and the like - for #NOvember (Wendy's idea), I didn't at all enjoy my first chocolate of December, from my #HotelChocolat bespoke chocolate advent calendar (which was actually an oversized Christmas selection box rejigged with an advent calendar cover hand drawn by my wife, applied to the top).
The chocolate I had just tased of palm fat. "BOOOH!"
