If you use #Gmail or #Hotmail / #Outlook email accounts with the **Windows Mail*** application, despite what you have specified in the account's own profile/configuration, or what you specify in the account's Windows Mail setup, Windows Mail will just blithely add your real name / Windows login name to an outbound email's `FROM:` field.

El de #google también lo uso para mi canal de #youtube.
Nunca tuve #Yahoo, pero todavía uso el de #protonmail, para cosas que el servicio no me dejo cambiar de email.

Después tengo #tutanota como principal y un servicio para enmascarar mi cuenta de Tutanota que me deja crear 10 máscaras o sea 10 emails personalizados más que uso para diferentes cuentas y que todas las notificaciones me llegan a Tutanota, parece un desastre, pero me es más organizado para usarlos por jerarquías. Debería hacer un toots sobre esto :)

#Thunderbird and #Vivaldi mail client failed me but #Kmail let me access my old #Hotmail accounts. I can still get to them using #K9Mail and, of course with #Outlook. It's frustrating. My oldest email addresses are giving me fits.

Somehow #Microsoft has borked my email clients and won't let my email clients access my #Hotmail accounts. I had to delete those accounts from #Thunderbird to make it usable. #Vivaldi email client still works but can't access Hotmail either. I really need to finish migrating away from Hotmail. It's awful now.

Is anyone else having issues connecting their email clients to #Outlook or #Hotmail? I'm having issues logging in with #Thunderbird or #Vivaldi mail clients. Can't tell if it's my machine or if it's wider spread.

@davidbisset Oh wow! I think #Hotmail was the very first email service that I used. I actually hated email because of it! 😂 #Yahoo & #Outlook were next.

Hotmail only gave me 2 megabytes of space, while Yahoo gave me 4 megabytes & I had 25 megabytes via Outlook (which my job at the time used). Then #Gmail came out with 1024 megabytes (a whole gigabyte!!!) & I have been with the latter ever since.
