@heiseonline In dem Fall #Overwatch2 kann ich den Unmut sehr gut nachvollziehen. Es ist eine Schande, was #Blizzard hier abzieht. Leider reiht es sich mit #Warcraft3 und #HotS in eine lange Reihe der verpfuschten Spiele ein.

I'm managing a gaming addiction. That's a deep subject that I don't have space to delve into here, but one of the games I was addicted to was #HeroesoftheStorm. For my mental health, I cut it out of my life.

Now years later and hopefully years wiser, I've reinstalled the game. I booted it up last night, and there's my old team. They never left and welcomed me back. When I mentioned that I was going to be rusty, one teammate said "bro, you know we don't care about skill."

We went 1-1.

And now, a bit of sadness, for me at least. Farewell Heroes of the Storm ! You were a great game for a long time and I enjoyed you immensely. I wish that Blizzard Activision hadn't given up on the game because it had so much potential and continues to have that potential of greatness. It's a great shame that it wasn't recognized as such and wasn't supported like other games in the MOBA genre were.

I absolutely, dearly loved the idea of The Nexus. A place that would bring characters from anywhere within the lore of Blizzard games to a centralized location where heretofore impossible interactions were suddenly available.

Released on June 2, 2015, I jumped in eagerly and enjoyed just about every aspect of it possible. Fell in love with so many characters such as James Raynor from Starcraft, Nazeebo and Azmodan from Diablo and Anduin from Warcraft. The lore has always been standout to me and it was a special place to be, for me, for a long time.

Sadly, the community has grown more and more toxic it seems. This, combined with Blizzard's giving up on this great game and putting it into maintenance mode have finally convinced me to end that journey.

The first character I ever played there was James Raynor. It was so good, and so fitting, that my last game was with him, a win, and MVP. #videogames #starcraft #diablo #nazeebo #azmodan #raynor #hots #blizzardentertainment

I really appreciate that Blizzard killed a game that I have loved and played for the past 7 years. They basically actively wingclipped the game because they couldn't make their professional esports work. The saddest part is there is an active community and it is imo the best moba. Lame shit.
