I think my favorite lesson from #hotskull on #netflix is that if you listen to too much bullshit it’ll make you start spouting a bunch of bullshit and rot your reasoning skills

We finished #HotSkull on Netflix last night. I'm ready for another season but hubsand seemed satisfied with a lack of answers. Really liked the main character although he didn't hurt that he kinda looks like a good friend of ours.

Ich finde die Idee fantastisch, das wurde auch schon in dem Film #Pontypool thematisiert.

Das hat sich inzwischen herausgestellt: Nachdem in der Serie #HotSkull nicht die Plapperer die bescheuertenn Dialoge führen, sondern die Protagonisten eines wie auch immer gearteten politischen Widerstandes, breche ich das Schauen der Serie in der 3. Folge ab. Stellenweise kam es mir so vor, als wäre die Serie von verkappten Schwurblern gemacht worden. Falsche Fährte gewesen, schade.

📣 Ein Virus, das sich rapide ausbreuîtet: Pandemie. Diesmal nicht Tröpfcheninfektion, sondern ein Virus, das sich durch Sprache, Zuhören ausbreitet. Man möchte hinzufügen: durch hemmungsloses Tröten. Durch Sprache Infizierte werden zu Plapperern. Plappern ist gefährlich. War es schon mmer. Eine nicht von der Hand zu weisende #RealFiction und eine sehr schöne Idee. Recht eigenartig umgesetzt auf #Netflix in der Serie #HotSkull. Da muss mensch sich wohl näher darauf einlassen heute abend.

Really enjoying the new #Netflix #SciFi drama series #HotSkull. But I'd quite like to read the book it's based on and can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I might find a copy? If online all the better. It's by #AfşinKum.

The premise is that those infected begin to talk gibberish, and hearing it infects the listener.

It has some pretty profound socio-political and philosophical, as well as psychoanalytical implications. I'm blown away at the intelligence of the premise. #hotskull
