Reading the HoTT book and trying to understand the basics. The inhabitants of a type are called terms. Are terms also types in Type Theory?

The first day of the #HoTT conference just wrapped up! It's so good to be back in Pittsburgh, and it's SO great to be among type theorists. I love this kind of math so much.
Now it's off to the barbeque reception 😌
Does #HoTT say anything interesting about adjoint equivalences of categories? Can we work up to adjoint equivalence, rather than full equivalence?
Set extensionality may seem simple when you think of a basket collecting some things, but we don’t just use small, finite collections of named atoms in math. Synthetic sets and the semantics of definition hides a lot of complexity around existence claims, predicativity, and self-reference.
Using fundamentally intensional type theories like #HoTT makes those definitional complexities more explicit while hiding the completed collection of existents.

I was watching this talk on #PureTypeSystems to the #Haskell group in Boston:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGqKsalJi4s
PTS is based on set theory. So, must it be translated to #HomotopyTypeTheory or is there an even simpler starting point for a programming language type system with #HoTT?
#hott #homotopytypetheory #haskell #puretypesystems
so has anyone figured out how to use #HomotopyTypeTheory as the basis for a programming language type system?
