Started #HoursHeresy Horus Rising again. It's such a long time. I forgot how likeable all the bastards started out.

Except for Eidolon. He's a stone cold prick from the start.

It's a credit to the authors that the fall of these characters over the course of the series is so gradual you forget how relatable they all started out.
