I can't grow aloe plants.
My husband, on the other hand, got one from a bartender a couple of years ago and it's blooming. I've never even seen an aloe flower before now.

This is the classic "too much water, too little water, too hot, too cold, too much light and not enough light" houseplant situation. Sorry I can't be of more help. I'll add some tags to increase reach. 😀

this is a distress call to entomologists, botanists, ethnobotanists or anyone wiser than i on the subject of plant care - which, let's face it, could be someone randomly plucked from a stadium crowd: the thing is...madeline (pictured) & some of her #houseplant cohorts have been invaded by fungus gnats. i've tried every suggested essential oil to deter them, but they're just not fucking off. #veganic ideas fervently embraced. thank you!
