I’ve been growing alocasias from corms. It’s super fascinating to me that the initial leaves show few of the variant traits. Anyone know why? Probably something to do with genetics. Anyway, here’s my baby amazonica, the second leaf looks much more like the adult form. Slender, bold white veins and a gorgeous outline. I’m an alocasia nerd btw #houseplantsofmastodon #alocasia

I made up my own cactus and succulent compost recently and repotted a few cacti. This chap now has some friends. The compost part must have had some seeds in it 🌵
