Yesterday in our #HouseRenovation nothing happened, as anticipated. But today we drove 35 minutes south to exchange the mosaic tile our builder nixed for something else we picked out online, but didn’t love when we saw (and felt) it.

So we had BBQ brisket for lunch, near home, and stopped at a neighborhood tile store. Found something we liked, great price, but not in stock. It’s available, yes, at a store 35 minutes south of us. We pick it up tomorrow and will alert the builder that it’ll be on hand for the next stage.

Today, nobody came and nothing happened on our #HouseRenovation as we’re waiting on a foundation repair (mostly under warranty) that won’t start until Monday, and we have to swap out the pretty segmented bathroom tile that our contractor recommended against using.

So hurry up and wait, with boxes and bikes and stuff we need to purge stacked in 3 different rooms…

The last of the major, major jobs on the house today. Respite the electric meter and new wiring and outlets all over the place. #houserenovation

Progress! Extension one of two is finally getting some foundations! Seems fitting given that today is our "200 days until we move in" anniversary!
