A pair of #HouseSparrows are nesting in a nook under our neighbor's roof, with a clear view from our kitchen. Fascinating to watch the parents come and go, and to see how this makes them more visible to predators. The nest hole has had at least two #crow visits, and an adult sparrow narrowly escaped a #SharpShinnedHawk. None of the predators have been successful so far. #birding

I think the #HouseSparrows have booted their little ones from the nest. There's several of them hanging about screaming for their parents, poor things.

Still, there's seeds and berries out for them and it's a lovely sunny day so there are worse ways to enter adulthood!
