You know in the movies when there is a fight between a tough guy and a skinny little guy and the tough guy keeps pummeling the little guy, but he keeps getting back up? And it happens so many times that the crowd around the fight goes silent, and eventually even the tough guy feels pity for the wimp who won't give up and just walks away himself, maybe shaking his head?

Kevin McCarthy saw that and said, that is how I'll get my speakership.

I’m surprised how CNN mentioned Repubs nominating Steve Scalise but no one has done so after 9 rounds. Donalds, Trump, & Hern won’t get 218 votes & neither will McCarthy. Guess the Repubs like this merry-go-round of chaos. Not a good look for the country.

Scalise seems reasonable, Jordan definitely not.

McCarthy is getting what he deserves. He made too many deals with the devil. He sucked up to Trump too many times. Now it’s blowing back in his face for the world to see. If he loses this will be the 2nd time that he’s been booted out of the speakership. Don’t forget he tried this before in 2015 & Speaker Boehner blocked that from happening. That’s how Paul Ryan got his job. # trump
