If the other people involved agree with the ideas, they can collectively make things better. If they don’t, people have a stronger sense of what that space is and what they’re doing there

@LeoSammallahti In my town, our limited equity #housingcoops sit on land owned by a community #LandTrust, so that seems to be a moot point. I'd be quite curious to learn more about how they work on market-rate land... #housingcoop

@christianbundy #housingcoops really vary by location - there are some places where they abound, and others where they are super scarce. The presence (or lack thereof) of a strong #landtrust/#housingtrust seems to be a major factor in US communities.
