@LikeItOrLumpIt @Coachmark you're already on one, you could follow more people or follow hashtags to get more information flow. Mastodon doesn't have algorithms that suggest things to you, you have to build your own network.
Personal I follow everyone boosted by people I like and that spreads the geography and topics that I see in the my unique feed.
Stick with it, there are very cool and weird people on here!

I am following too many hashtags. I would like to unfollow some but cannot find any list of them or setting or page where I can discard those which no longer interest me.

Is it allowable to have more than one account, for different purposes, active at the same time?

I've been trying to look this up but don't know what to search for to find relevant results. I don't want to change instances, I'm happy where I am. I anticipate problems when more of my RL friends/fam move from the bird app and either I have to lie and say I'm not interested in following them any more or else be horribly anxious about privacy.

It's my habit to keep interaction with online friends separate to offline peeps because of boundaries.
