I’ve been exploring #nostr and on a technical level I’m really impressed. They aim to be highly #decentralized and completely #censorship-resistant and the protocol is well thought out and achieves that really well.
#However, wouldn’t want to really try it. The flipside of freedom from censorship is limited protection from abuse. You can block an abusive individual from contacting you on nostr but there’s no way to prevent them abusing others (or inciting others to abuse you). That’s not a good tradeoff for me.

I support the right to defend yourself from the government and evil people. A well armed minority is more difficult to oppress. #ArmTheProletariat #ArmTheDragQueens …

The 2nd amendment is poorly written and outdated. It needs to be repealed. It harms our culture more than it helps. Maybe a future generation can reimplemented it for the technology of a modern populace. #Repeal2A #GunViolence #USPolitics
