Just re-watched #Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and to say it “hits” differently now than it did at the ages of 7-10 years old is an understatement. The instant intolerance for Rudolph’s nose or Herbie’s desire to be a dentist, the tolerated (almost expected) bullying - even from the adults, the pressure to conform (I’m looking at you #Santa) a constantly cranky Santa….
And don’t even get me started on the sexism…
