Three #HowToBlowUpAPipeline movie was excellent, but I wish they had mentioned that if you don't want to deal with 500lb barrels of explosives, then you need to learn about "shaped charges"

De film "How to blow up a pipeline" blinkt niet uit in subtiliteit of diepte. Je krijgt eigenlijk precies wat de titel en plotbeschrijving belooft. Hij blijft een beetje ééndimensionaal en zet daardoor niet aan tot heel diep nadenken. De film is verder prima gemaakt en soms best spannend, ik heb me niet verveeld, maar ik had wel iets meer verwacht dan de thriller die ie nu is geworden.

J'ai l'impression que le format série aurait été plus adapté pour aller plus loin et approfondir chaque personnage, chaque péripétie.

Je viens de voir #Sabotage le film inspiré par How to blow up a pipeline. Ben c'est vraiment un bon film. Certes, y'a une romantisation du terrorisme, mais le film est puissant et montre comme la lutte contre le désespoir passe par l'action. #howtoblowupapipeline ça donne envie d'agir.

I watched How To Blow Up a Pipeline, & while you can raise lots of questions about its politics (which the film clearly wants you to do) the storytelling is fantastic. I haven't felt that tense in a long time. It's partly about how it portrays the process of preparing the attack, but also the peeling back of the characters. Potential conflicts crop up everywhere, sharp edges ready to draw blood, & even when they don't cut, the fear of them does.
