Here's a hint for new or near-new Mastodon (and other Fedi) users: create an #Introduction post, including that hashtag, to give yourself a history and spell out some of your #Interests (more hashtags for them, too) and then pin that post to your profile.

It gives people who you follow something to read when they check to make sure you're not a bot or porn-pusher (unless that's what interests the viewer). It also gives them something to boost, further increasing the visibility of your account.

This is only a hint; not telling anyone what to do 😁
