@ndz @F1RUM I dug up my EPEC (electric propulsion evaluation computer) software for HP48 from 20+ years ago and updated it recently to be relevant in 2020+. It was written to compute operational parameters of electric model aircraft.

@danie10
I still have my #HP48 🤗
I bought a serial to USB converter to load some software on it but did not have the time yet.
I remember I played #Phoenix and #BurgerTime on it🤙
@textfiles nice to see. I've been running a #hp48 app on my #android phone for ages. good to have a fall back if i misplaced my phone 😅
I had an #hp48 calculator when I was in high school, something I scrimped and saved and worked for, and bought from EduCALC in their waning days. The machine didn't teach me much math, but it sure kept me busy programming, and it was my first taste of a Lisp-like system: the machine mostly didn't care what types of arguments it was given, so long as they evaluated to something useful. A block of code was as good as an equation for the solver or graphing tools, that sort of thing.
@ibannieto I discovered #RPN at university using #HP48
it is a powerful tool 😜 @neauoire @rek
@jwildeboer This #HP48 G from 1998, two years before going to study physics
For those of you who were fans of the HP 48 Series calculators, all of the goodies disks are available online! i need to go find a workable cable! #hp48 #hpcalculator
