Sometimes, just when you think you’ve reached a dead end, things start to come together. Last night, I was researching “Pauline” Glembocki (c. 1891-1964) who primarily lived in #HudsonCounty #nj after immigrating at the age of 14. I wasn’t finding too much until I accidentally stumbled across her husband’s naturalization papers. Turns out her given name is really “Apolonia” and that there are multiple spellings of her marriage surname which I have as “Luscz.” #genealogy #Geniog

#HudsonCounty is regressing its proposed design of JFK Blvd East, removing protected bike lanes and floating bus stops from the planned design so they can fit angled parking. Today is a public meeting with a comment portion, but you can also submit comments online or by mail.
