Bell AH-1S TOW Cobra. One of the more capable of the single-engined versions of the the classic Cobra. Derived from the Bell UH-1 Huey (built on a new slim-line fuselage), in response to an urgent operational need during the Vietnam War, The -1S was upgraded with a 1,800 shp (1,300 kW) T53-L-703 turboshaft engine. The -1S has been flown by the armed forces of Japan and the Philippines, as well as the USA. This example is seen at the New England Air Museum, #Connecticut #USA
