🇬🇧 I finished the 1st volume of the #Silo trilogy written by #HughHowey, based on which a series was created on #AppleTVPlus. S01 of the series is about 5/12 of the first book. Sensational story! I'm reading on, and looking forward to the continuation of the series.

🇬🇧 I managed (thanks to one fellow #Mastodon member, if he wants he'll reveal himself 😉 ) to catch the #Silo trilogy from #HughHowey in #ebook form! It will be a strong read. Interestingly, already the first 7 chapters are pretty strong spoilers of the series 😅

Excellent SF that uses relationships and personality to view a dystopian society on the verge of collapse. The is a very human view of the future.

This has to be one of the VERY few times where the show/movie set turned out being cooler than my imagined version when reading the book. At least, from what I can see in the trailer :D

Silo is based in the world of Hugh Howey's books Wool, Shift, and Dust. I enjoyed reading them and seeing the twists he built up as the story went on. Vague on purpose, they're more fun going into them without knowing too much.
