They're increasing prices because they know they're going out of business and need to make a few extra bucks off people who don't check their emails.

Doing a little testing with #Privoxy, and #AdGuard's DNS servers https://adguard-dns.io/en/public-dns.html (the latter in lieu of a #PiHole server later).
No way to configure #tvOS to use a proxy (did I miss it?) but custom DNS servers was easy & appears to have had the immediate effect of removing ads on #Peacock and #ParamountPlus. I guess #Hulu is avoiding recognizable ad-servers?

I'm glad #cable is dying but this splintering into infinite numbers of providers charging in the range of $20 on up is the worst-case replacement scenario I feared.
#YouTube premium, which I tried for a bit, was under $15, now they want me back at $18.99.
This trend can not hold and I'm trying to wean myself off of all paid #TV services, at least for a while.
