The first step is to realise that we don’t get to control what other people are and that the arbitrary rules we’ve made are just that. Once we’ve accepted that old rules don’t apply, it’s about retraining our brain to remove the old shortcuts. @CakeContent I used this in my lecture to level3 undergrads last week. A way to get a #humancentric feel for big #data , #MachineLearning and #artificialintelligence #AI I also covered the 'dark side' of Cambridge Analytica and #votertargeting #informationwars.

I cannot stop myself from being awed by how people defend and support the way he is acting as CEO of twitter. As a company (or product) lead he seems to stand for all I detest.

I guess and also hope that the #Twitter desaster has at least one good side effect. The shift of the paradigm about how we use the #web, #internet, and #socialmedia as a whole. No matter what happens to Musk's playground, people start to realize that we need more independent and #HumanCentric systems, where we OWN the data and not ARE the data.

I think we now have the big chance, to influence this movement into a direction that fits for way more people than the old.
