Our lab group is visiting Soni Highland（曽爾高原）, where one of our former members is working as a nature educator/coordinator. To protect this vast #grassland area, people here burn it every spring. We walked around the area this afternoon (just after the burning 🔥). It looks all burned, but look, some of the plants have already regenerated. In a few months, a lot of beautiful flowers will be blooming!🌺🌻🐝 #biodiversity #HumanIntervention
