Still early, but this is the highlight of my day so far:

Our mayor just hand delivered donuts to my office!

On Facebook, he posted the Krispy Kreme sign this morning with "Happy Friday."

I commented, "Could you bring some of those over to the Old Library Building? 😉"

And he did!!! He also thanked us for all we do for the city (HR).

A little embarrassing to me, but it also shows what a kind man he is.

@alyssam_infosec It’s my observation that most places, regardless of industry or service, higher whoever talks themselves up the most. If they hired the applicant who was most qualified, the turnover wouldn’t be anywhere near as high.
