Capitalism drives corps do copious harm in the push to max out profits. We rightfully condemn this. But what about non-profit orgs? They too put revenue above all, even above their cause. Which they justify by rationalizing that their mission needs money. Know what's even more depressing than working from home? Death, disease, war, famine, and civil unrest, all caused by climate change. And if you think your allergies are bad now, just wait until climate change really starts kicking into high gear.

At this point, I think we all need to be willing to sacrifice a little of our own personal comfort in order to prevent the literal apocalypse. If that means most office workers won't have as many opportunities to socialize, and they feel a little lonely as a result, I'm sorry, but that's a 100% acceptable tradeoff in my opinion.

If some folks really need that social interaction in order to stay sane, I would suggest they join a local #BookClub or #CyclingClub, start volunteering with #HumanRightsCampaign, #HabitatForHumanity, etc. There are plenty of other (arguably better) ways to get your physical activity and social time besides commuting by car to work in an office.

my friends in the USA, it has come to my attention that you do not really know how much discrimination is, in fact, allowed against #LGBTQ people in the US.
