@unfinishedsymphony what a great idea! My hop bine is struggling. It got covered in honeydew from overhanging trees in June and then got soot fungus as a result. I am trying to propagate a second bine by layering, but seem to be killing one of my shoots trying.... Once I do succeed, I will set one up over my gate. This is in Sheffield, UK, where we are on the cool and damp end of el nino. #sootfungus #hops #humuluslupus
