I have been working on this knife for what feels like forever. It just needs a little last minute finish work on the blade and hilt, to be sharpened and a sheath. The sheath comes first, then everything else.

This is a close look at the polished, ram's horn slabs on a skinning knife I am working on. The black spots are carbon fiber pins, very strong, very light weight and very easy to work with hand tools. These slabs were shaped with files and sand paper, boiling water, and a lot of sweat.
