We were very lucky - if the path had been a little farther west we would have been in a world of hurt. As it is, we lost power and internet, and have some branches down in the back yard. Otherwise unscathed (but very tired!).

Though I was 100 miles inland, they cancelled work for me so I'm sitting home with bright sunshine and calm skies. There were no terrible winds nor a tremendous amount of rain last night. There was rain and there was wind but not much to be honest. I'd say a bit of a damp squib.
