13/20 They're not trying to be #hurtful. I'm sure it's #annoying as hell to have to repeat every third sentence you say to someone. But that #annoyance shows through, for virtually everyone. I can hear the #frustration, the #disappointment, the #anger in the voice even if I can't make out the #words.

@golgaloth Think about the word funny. It's hard to find a funny situation that isn't embarrassing or hurts the object of "funny." On the other hand, the audience often likes the emotion evoked. A few cringe—but then I tend to overthink things.
