The #exercise journey continues! My #running training has had to take a bit of a detour to something lower impact because it flared up an old knee injury from college.

Rather than run it into oblivion, I made a doctor appointment and moved to #cycling until I can get it looked at.

What matters is I still feel that fire to keep moving!! And that's a huge victory for me.

Grateful for the support of my husband. (who just ran a half marathon!)

My husband invited me to run a couple's half-marathon next year. Catch is, I haven't done any serious running or sports in quite some time! He's a regular half-marathoner and has done a marathon in the past.

We put our heads together and came up with a safe plan (C25K, 5K-10K, then 10K - Half Marathon) schedule with the help of some online guides for me to live my running fantasy. 😂

Vancouver BC trip. ✅

We had so much fun experiencing the city:

- Met with #Twitch friends. First time in person!
- Ate a lot of yummy food. Highlights being the eggs benedict and xiao long bao.
- Went to an improv show
- Walks through Stanley Park.
- Sauna!!
- Lazy coffee mornings while husband was out for his morning jog.

We love #Canada and are looking forward to our next trip. Maybe a return to Victoria?
