Update: #Hwy17 is reopened from Granite Creek to the Santa Clara/Santa Cruz County line following the removal of downed trees/snowfall.

Needless to say Hwy 9 is closed too.

The Merc says "As of Friday morning, the only open path between [Santa Cruz and San Jose] is through Highway 92 from San Mateo to Half Moon Bay and then driving south on Highway 1 to Santa Cruz." But it looks like there's a closure on Hwy 1 at Hwy 84, so that's probably a no-go too.

Hwy 17 still has no estimate for when it will reopen all the way. On the South Bay side parts will reopen at 4 and 6 pm today. But the Bear Creek Road to Granite Creek closure has no ETA.
