I finally got my monster of a desktop running again to fix a problem in my latest #Hydroneer save. I need to ammend my previous endorsement that it can run on a low powered computer.

It can run, even at max settings, on a weak PC but you need to be careful about automating something then wandering off for hours. If you do it right, it'll be fine but a mistake can leave you so screwed that you need to use a mod to destroy the +5 Bucket of Frame Killing.

I've gotten pretty hooked on #Hydroneer. I bought the game because of Josh from LGIO but watching Lolipopgi's streams motivated me to play it.

It's a lot of fun as a kind of steampunk Factorio in 3D but much more intimate/small scale than Satisfactory. It can still run on a pretty moderate PC. I encourage people to try it next time it's on sale.

Oh, and play the tutorial if you haven't watched someone play on stream. There's some unintuitive stuff that the 2.2 tutorial explains.

I've watched all of letsgameitout's #Hydroneer videos and a few from other creators. I've internalized a lot of knowledge from them but when I invited a friend to join she was at a complete loss.

The game is in desperate need of in game tutorials/help/intro missions to help new players get started.
