I use this tool to help learn Homeric Greek words, but I wonder if there was a way to search. Sometimes all I need is to know a few words and online translators struggle with Ancient Greek

This site factors in my translation process, but I would utilize it more if I could search it. My process is not perfect as my knowledge of Greek is very limited.

I saw this telly programme with Howard Goodall on it and they were talking about The difference between and .

A carol was the name for a folk song, many of which had similar tunes or different lyrics to the same tune, and they weren't necessarily associated with .

Some carols were adapted with a Christmas message so became Christmas carols. Hymns however are those songs that are more rigid in structure. So some of what we call carols are actually Christmas Hymns ...
