One annoying thing about the high-low rollercoaster that is #ChronicIllness, is how I have a bout of #Hyperactivity after a lengthy amount of #ChronicFatigue. It drives me into having no choice but to wear myself out again pretty quick. So, once again I was recovered on Monday but all BRRRRRRR for days. Now it’s catching up with me in time for the weekend. Again. Great.

Apologies for the hashtag explosion there but I’m hoping for community outreach suggestions to help with it.

@nus I was diagnosed with #Hyperactivity (which I guess was #ADHD then) when I was about 9, so, the late 70s.

My doctor told my guardians to lock me out of the house from 8am to 9pm and give me a slap if I played up too much.

Very #DifferentTimes - But I don't think I'd change that! It certainly made be very independant.

I didn't learn how to learn until I was about 22 and found that "teacher who changes your life" but, I still managed to scrape through a Degree and a Masters before that.

Have been working with a new therapist who specializes in #neurodiversity in women.

Past couple sessions went through #ADHD #Hyperactivity #impulsivity diagnostic criteria from the DSM5.

The use of it is not banned in #Australia, but is apparently regulated.

Despite being banned for household use traces are present in 75% of US citizens.
