I can’t find good healthcare & running out of energy for this so I’m writing before I can’t reach out. Happened before & hell it’s scary to have no energy to even open your eyes. For months.

Am at a loss to where to ask for help to find a #doctor #GP #GeneralPractitioner who wants to help a patient with complex needs. Is there anywhere on Mastodon? I’ve been to FB *shudder* many times and nothing. If you’re an existing patient it’s ok but NEW patients are stuffed. Even more #doctors are retiring now it’s the New Year. What can I do?

For 2 years, I thought I had long #COVID. I got a flu-like illness in Feb 2020, and never got better. I developed other conditions: asthma, #brainFog so bad I forgot my address, heart palpitations, candida, and exzema. I was always tired, napping every day and sleeping over 10 hours.

Instead of getting better, I got worse, my health plummeted after the J&J shot.

Turned out I had primary #hyperparathyroidism.

If this is you, if you're getting worse not better, check your #PTH levels.

I wrote JS today!
Some of you know, I had primary #hyperparathyroidism for a few years. Symptoms are similar to #longCovid so it took 2 years to diagnose. Developed asthma and brain fog so bad I couldn't drive. I even forgot my address. Didn't code JS the entire time. While I saw improvement right after surgery, it's been small steps. Yesterday I walked up a cliff, no asthma. And today I caught myself writing JS without thinking about it. I just needed some functions so I wrote them. 😊
