One year of work vs three.

That first year was hard. Really hard. My was fairly new, and a 30 min light drained me for days. Today, I did a moderate intensity workout for an hour and a half—ending it with 36 reps of strict OHP to celebrate my birthday—and...I feel fine. 🙂 I'll probably need a rest day tomorrow, but I don't think I'll be drained.
So here's hoping it continues to improve, and my progress can speed up in year four. 🖤

This systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials suggests that even though muscle strength and physical performance are likely to be increased by exercise or nutrition intervention alone, combined interventions are likely to be even more effective.

You can rest more than 90s between sets for hypertrophy, in fact it can be beneficial.
