My Mum had a #hysterectomy when she was 19. Dad was diagnosed with #prostatecancer 21 years ago. They are both now in their early 80s. So very, very lucky. I miss them. It's been 6 years since the last hugs.

I'm still tired a lot, but doing OK other than frequent low-grade headaches & the occasional migraine. Those suck.

Super excited about never having a period again though, so it's worth it. I'll take headaches over dysphoria any day.

I just wish I wasn'y so damn tired all the time - I was hoping that I'd have more energy by now. Alas.

4 weeks and 3 days #PostOp from #hysterectomy #today. I (very cautiously) did my first solo load of laundry yesterday. This morning, I returned to the #gym and my much-missed personal trainer, and (very cautiously) did an hour of #PhysicalTherapy and rehab movement. It feels good to be slowly returning to life, but after weeks of being so ultra cautious, everything is honestly a little terrifying.

I feel so much better.

Other than some difficulty bending over & the occasional low-grade headache, I'm doing really well.

It helps that I'm really good at sleep-healing & like naps 😴

I'm glad my #HRT patch hasn't started to wear off - that 36-48 hours of #menopause was awful.

Scientology should really suggest a #hysterectomy as a way to quickly & cleanly get rid of Thetan clusters. 'Cause, damn, I finally feel healthy & demon-free.

So, I experienced nearly 48 hours of #menopause before the #HRT patch kicked in. I am feeling human again, which is nice. Being able to keep down solid food again is a bonus.

0/10, do not recommend menopause. I'm glad it's over. Right? ... RIGHT?!

Started #HRT #today - it's helped a lot. #Menopause officially sucks, but I think it's still worth it.

Still having a hard time holding anything down. Even plain water has been difficult at times. I'm having pretty good luck with ginger ale right now :)

Gross: I threw out my neck while throwing up

Which triggered an "Am I actively dying?" headache. It felt like a pair of kidney stones, in my brain. Sitting in a hot shower helped

Then came the #HotFlashes

Doing better now, but still nauseous. At least I can hold down water. And my hubby gave me a very helpful neck rub, so I feel human again
