To follow up from the last time I posted here, it turns out that the #SteamDeck can't handle Horizon Zero Dawn #HZD once you get a certain number of larger machines in front of you. Fighting two bellowbacks brought it to a standstill. So I swapped to the PS4 for that. The SteamDeck is great for simpler games, though. #Pentiment ran like a dream.

Apparently #HorizonZeroDawn (aka #HZD) is on sale somewhere right now. If you're into vidyagames and haven't played it, it was 110% worth full price, which means it is obviously even more worth a sale price. Utterly fantastic game.

Even the parts I thought I'd hate (the story/worldbuilding - assumed the explanation for, well, robo dinos, would be dumb/handwavey; and that the combat would be frustrating Monster Hunter type stuff) ended up being extremely well done!
