Comezando a aprender a programación dos #STM32 e os inferfaces de son #I2S .

Xerador de función senoidal con STM32F411 e codec I2S PCM5102A, con control de frecuencia e amplitude.

Alternately maybe #wyze, I believe the hacks can push mp3s to the speaker.

This morning's wizarding is a new case for my #esphome speakers. Specifically, I love https://www.printables.com/model/363300-esphome-speaker but it doesn't fit the ESP32 boards I settled on ( https://amzn.to/3JA0lpA )

If #esphome supported #i2s on #esp8266 this wouldn't be an issue. I have plenty of esp8266 boards that are roughly the right size. Alas, filing a bug would involve another fight with #stalebot.

Instead of climbing the #barriertoentry, I fired up #Fusion360 (thanks https://usebottles.com/app/#fusion360 !) and whipped up a quick alternate box bottom.

Unfortunately, some terrible no good very bad filament from #Sunlu has managed to completely jam my extruder right below the gear, so I can't print it yet.

I am so tired of rebuilding this stupid #Prusa. The hot-end was decent before the #mmu2 disaster, but that conversion and subsequent fix-after-fix has made it sketchy at best. At least I'm getting good at teardowns. (And I'm saving for the top MK4 upgrade to get rid of the PTFE entirely.)

@matt_trentini @dave @fuzzySynths I definitely walked in with a plan to bitbang. Reading about #micropython interrupts disabused me.

I'm not sure what RMT is. I looked at an #I2S device but it kind of sucked. The #ad9833 is #SPI and works beautifully but has predetermined waveforms.

I wondered about storing wfs in an #eeprom but it needs more thought. Still need to output a phase ramp at a high rate. #esp32->DDS ramp->eeprom->DAC?

Even with the #esp32 board working how I expect, the #i2s #max98357 isn't. I don't think I even want to use this board, but the one I want doesn't arrive until Monday.

I wonder if I blew the board somehow while I had things hooked up wrong. It came with 3 units, I should try another one I guess.

Aha. #micropython now has #I2S built in. I don't totally understand it, but that's why this is a learning project.
