I bought a laptop recently to use as a (nearly) disposable laptop for when I’m going somewhere it would be hard to keep an eye on it (like the ballgame). It’s got an #Intel #N100 chip in it, and I gotta say, I’m super impressed at how much better the extreme low end CPUs have gotten in the last ~8 years. The #Atom chips were basically unusable, but this thing is actually pretty nice. Obviously it’s nowhere near an #M1 or an #i7, but it’s definitely usable.

Much lower spec 2017 #i7 currently has #opensuse #tumbleweed , works perfectly so far.

Außerdem fiel mir auf, dass der BMW #i7 ein ganz schön hässliches Auto ist.
Den #ioniq6 haben wir uns auch angeschaut. Die Kofferraumöffnung ist eher mit nem Handschuhfach zu vergleichen. Dafür gefällt der Innenraum sehr. Die Verwandtschaft zum #ioniq5 ist nicht zu leugnen. 😏

Trying to find an ideal amount of text to fit on one screen across many platforms/'terps is probably a fool's errand, but I think people generally dislike the "more" prompt"

In the ongoing saga of my first Inform 7, I’ve decided to create a “reader’s companion text” using the menus/basic help menu framework to incorporate instructions, hints, general questions about the game, and migrate some of the footnote info that would work better in a static document.
The goal is better discoverability and a better realization of the concept of an IF “critical edition.”

Does someone want to tell me which brand/model of DDR4 RAM (probably 32GB) I should get to upgrade my kid's #Intel #i7 #gaming PC?
