A nice addition to #iPadOS would be the use of #FaceID to authenticate or unlock a connected #Mac that is linked to the #iPad via #UniversalControl. It’s not quite FaceID for the Mac, but would be pretty close.

Found a fix for the annoying keyboard control bar (the one with the keyboard and microphone button) on #iPadOS!

If you're using a physical keyboard and it's in your way, go to Settings > General > Keyboards. Turn off both 'Shortcuts' and 'Predictive.' Voila, it's gone! No more blocked input fields or send buttons.

J'ai récupéré hier l'iPad envoyé par mon employeur pour le boulot.
Maaaandieu ! #iPadOS est devenu tellement compliqué ! Les gestes tactiles ne sont pas intuitifs je trouve.

Mais c'est difficile de transformer autant "d'actions/interactions" avec une UI en gestes...

Heureusement cet iPad est un "de base" donc il reste l'emblématique bouton "home", mais on est loin des débuts d'iPhoneOS/iOS je trouve... et je reste un nostalgique éternel du skeuomorphisme pour l'interface.

@gruber @pschiller Any chance we can get more awareness for the 12.9 inch #blooming problem? We get it, miniLED has its limitations when it comes to high-contrast detailed areas. But there are fixes possible. For example not letting native #iPadOS apps go full black (Files, Calendar, Settings etc.). Letting all dimming areas light up slightly is much better than the insanity of jumping blooming clouds when you try to use an iPad in the dark. It's an issue.
