The new Standby feature coming to iOS17 really is a great addition. I have it set to different faces depending on which room/magsafe charger it’s on. This is my living room & only want to see the time.

I know it’s soon , however iOS 17 beta 4 is feeling very nice for me so far. Liking the icon changes in iMessage options , far more Apple like. Nice touch in standby mode too where now have a toggle to tap notifications when they appear to read the notification.

Good morning all. Here’s a question for all you #iOS17Beta testers.

Is your #Crossfade working ok in #AppleMusic or is it buggy ……or am I using wrong.

I have set to 6 seconds , however regardless of the amount set from 1-12 the track stops & I have the pause until next song starts.

Does this work for music already in your library , or is it just if you’re playing/streaming from Apple Music.

Or am I holding it wrong ?

#iOS17 Beta 2 is running nicely for me so far. Seems very speedy & only experienced a couple of glitches. The betas have come a long way since the early days. There was a time I wouldn’t touch until about beta 4 or 5. You could argue there’s not much to look at when it comes to ios17 , but it feels nice & smooth atm. I do wish they’d do something with the CC though & allow standby to stay on all night whilst in sleep mode. I’ve submitted feedback.

#iOS betas have come a long way over the last few years. I remember a time where I wouldn’t touch them until about beta 3 or 4. These days I’m amazed at the 70% stability they seem to be for a 1st beta.

THAT SAID

For me , #iOS17 beta 1 has to be the worst for battery drain I’ve encountered even for a beta. Running down faster than sweat out of my body on a sweltering day. I know it’s a beta but just saying. Charger in bag for work tomorrow it is.

The new Stand by feature on #IOS17 seems very buggy for me on my #iPhone14ProMax

1st time I put on Apple MagSafe charger (Horizontal) it came on straight away.

Have tried a couple of times since & just won’t come on. Unless I’m missing something , this requires some more work.

Yes Yes ……it’s a beta.

Just wondering others experiences ?
