I was beyond excited to have a chance to get #ParisOlympic tickets - until my turn came and I saw the prices left on the few remaining packages. No #Olympics2024 but, if I start saving now, Olympics 2040 might be on the table 🙃

Just like the #cycling World championships in 2016, the #athletics Worlds in #Doha, #Qatar are a serious imposition for the athletes: Way too hot and humid for top performances, no ambience due to a lack of spectators in the stadiums and along the courses, complaints of athletes about the quality of the hotels and the foods served. No doubt the officials of the #IAAF are not facing any of those hardships. Greed ruins sports.
