@DrPlanktonguy thanks Warren. I’m actually Canadian co-chair of the IJC’s RCC and was engaged in the process of developing the Strategy. Our next step, though, is implementation. The devil is always in the details 😁. How do we bring the Strategy to life? That’s why we are now initiating a new working group to develop a Science PLAN. Val ump and Gail Krantzberg are leading the charge and hosted a town hall at #iaglr23.
#iaglr23 really wanted to attend but it seems like there is no remote option this year #COVIDisNotOver

We hope to capitalize on all the #plasticpollution #research happening in the basin to develop a #riskassessment and #monitoring framework. We’re soliciting abstracts now until *January 27*!
Don’t worry, I’ll remind you in January 😁
