I’m writing my own course material in #LaTeX for #calculus 1. Would anyone be willing to proofread them? I’m happy to pay whatever a reasonable rate would be based on your level of experience.

It’s a somewhat group work and #IBL approach, although not strictly so. And unfortunately has a lot of typos.

I'm interested in following #groups on #Mastodon... are they an official thing, or an unofficial third party thing? Curious to know more about them. Right now I just know they exist in theory.

In that vein, has anyone yet created a #math or #mathed or #mtbos #ibl #gradingforgrowth etc group on Mastodon?

Hi! I am an associate professor of mathematics at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I teach broadly across the undergraduate curriculum. My teaching philosophy is inflected by #IBL.

I'm the perpetrator of a rant about #ungrading that has become weirdly popular. I've been giving workshops about ungrading for a little while now.
