There was quite a bit of Agent-Based Modeling activity at #IC2S2 this year (one parallel talk session, plus a dozen or so posters and other talks).

When manning my poster, however, I was surprised at how many times I found myself having to justify from scratch what ABMs are and why they're used. I'd like to see a broader penetration of this important tool into the conference community, and am considering proposing an ABM tutorial for next year.

Last (but not least!) keynote at #ic2s2: @estebanmoro on the social aspect of urban resilience.

Love Copenhagen! Amazing city.

The only downside is that their men's bathrooms have no urinals, only stalls. Since stalls are larger, and therefore fewer, this can lead to long lines.

Having a few stalls and no urinals strikes me as like having a few CPUs and no GPUs.
