A starless narrowband view of the Jellyfish Nebula (IC443). This nebula is a supernova remnant of a star that exploded millennia ago; its characteristic shape is formed by the supernova material colliding with a nearby cloud of hydrogen. The nebula is located over 5,000 light years from Earth.

Here's another image I took of a supernovae remnant and ran it through a star removal tool. This is what we call the "Jellyfish Nebula" - for obvious reasons :)

The Jellyfish Nebula (IC443) is a supernova remnant located in the constellation Gemini about 5,000 light years from Earth.

The image was acquired over multiple nights using a tri-band narrowband filter with a 24MP camera on an esprit 120 telescope.
