#NowPlaying is VOA by Sammy Hagar. This is my first listen to the entire album, although I know "I Can't Drive 55" really well. Interesting note: the Ferrari BB 512i that Sammy drives in the video (it's his actual car) is also my favourite Ferrari of all time (I'll take my in red, thanks!). Let's see how the Red Rocker does on this LP...

@smellsfischy @chopaganda @phimius I'm not a Sammy hater per se. I just grew up on David Lee Roth VH and the whole Van Hagar pop bubblegum musical turn they took was just gross. It was offensive.

@h2onolan Not sure where you are, but in the USA, the street speed limit would be a municipal regulation (and largely set by the streets dept usually with public input of some sort) while speed governors would need to be a federal regulation. We also have states with insane speed limits like 85 mph (140 km/h) on some highways. So structural issues means that they are entirely separate. But to your point, yes, speed limit enforcement is mostly about revenue, not safety.
